WHAT do a gold medal winning Olympic athlete, a UK Entrepreneur of the Year, a leadership coach and the world's biggest computer firm have in common?

The answer? They are taking part in Venturefest Yorkshire 2006.
The third annual event for entrepreneurs will be held at York Racecourse on February 8 2006.
Olympic gold medal heptathlon winner Denise Lewis tops the evening bill, where she will share her experiences of overcoming injury with delegates at the awards dinner.
BBC Dragons' Den panellist Doug Richards will deliver the morning keynote address.
Over breakfast, budding entrepreneurs can hear from a man who's been there and done it – last year's Venturefest business award winner Victor Buchanan, of Bioflame.
Other speakers include former UK Entrepreneur of the Year Steve Pipe, Jonathan Perks, an award-winning life coach and ones from Microsoft, who will help start-ups and established businesses ensure they are getting the best from technology.
More than 2,000 people are expected to take part in the free, one-day event.
The aim, according to chairman University of York Professor Tony Robards, is to provide an environment in which "great ideas flourish".
He said: "The purpose of the day is to provide a focus for this enterprising spirit and an environment in which people can network, discuss, learn and have access to the support they need to be successful.
"We've got some top speakers who will inspire and encourage people to follow their dreams, and representatives from the region's education and professional communities who can provide the support that entrepreneurs need as they go forward."
Venturefest Yorkshire 2006 will also feature the annual Venturefest business awards competition, which will see potential start-up companies pitch to a panel of specialists for a £20,000 prize fund.
Next year will also see an expansion of Innovation Central, a specialist area for pre-start and new-start businesses, which will include an exhibition, advice sessions and a private panel for confidential feedback on ideas.
Enterprise Inspirations will also make a return, bringing more than 100 of the region's most enterprising young people with entrepreneurs and established businesses.
