York City have parted company with experienced defender Steve Davis.
The former Burnley and Luton Town centre-back has left KitKat Crescent after reaching an agreement on the remaining 12-month of his contract. He was placed on the transfer-list at the end of the season as the Minstermen looked to cut their wage bill. The 36-year-old joined York last summer from Blackpool but was restricted to just 15 Conference appearances because of a hip injury. |
